Hunter Crisp GGA

HUNTER CRISP

Architect

Hunter is an emerging architect with experience on some of Adelaide’s most iconic recent developments including Her Majesty’s Theatre, 60 KWS and the Adelaide Botanic High School Expansion. He has a particular strength in mixed-use developments, combining the diverse user needs and building typologies involved. His perspective considers not only the direct user experience but also the broader implications of how these large-scale buildings interact with their surroundings.

Hunter’s strengths lie in an investigative approach with clients and stakeholders to bring to light their true needs and desires, beyond their original brief. Through the investment in this thoughtful process, he derives the greatest benefit from consultation to inform an optimum concept design. Working across a variety of sectors including education, civic, commercial, infrastructure and multi-residential, he continues his contributions through the project life cycle to bring the vision to life.

Relishing the multi-faceted puzzle of architecture, Hunter integrates the challenges of complex functional requirements with his passion for aesthetics. Working collaboratively with the project team, he proactively encourages ESD and improved design solutions. He strives to create places of beauty that will enhance the site and delight anyone who interacts with it.
