NICOLE DENT
Managing Director
Nicole is an Architect and Project Leader at Grieve Gillett Architects, and has led teams on civic, commercial, education, leisure and heritage projects. She is a Member and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
She is the past Chair for the SA Chapter of Learning Environments Australasia, a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, a former a member of the Property Council’s Social Infrastructure Committee and a former member of the City of Unley’s Council Assessment Panel. Her clients include Catholic Education SA, the Department for Education, private schools, and other local and state government agencies. In addition to shaping Adelaide’s urban environment, she has previously worked on major projects for NSW and Sydney Trains, nationally with the Department of Defence and internationally on projects in the UK, Europe and China.
In her leadership role, Nicole enjoys working collaboratively with GGA’s collection of talented architects, designers and heritage consultants. Her passion is education design, revitalising and creating contemporary spaces for learning. She also enjoys working on heritage buildings to celebrate and preserve the cultural heritage values for our local communities to enjoy now and for the future. Nicole believes that buildings and places are to be created for humans to enjoy and thrive within, and that our industry has a huge responsibility to achieve this in a sustainable way.
