Paul has extensive experience in all areas of architectural practice. His dedication to design, attention to detail and commitment to excellence are evident in all his work.

Paul has excellent and proven design skills having been recognised with numerous awards. He listens carefully and analytically and is a clear and (as required) lateral thinker. He communicates clearly and succinctly and works collaboratively in both consultant and contractor lead environments.

He believes in maintaining a hands on approach from design to construction, ensuring that design intent, client requirements and quality of workmanship are championed throughout the life of a project.  The result is finely crafted buildings which provide innovative solutions to the client’s needs.

Paul understands and accommodates project budgetary, programme and contractual constraints while continuing to strive for excellence. He does all of this in an attitude of good humour.

After graduation Paul worked in Sydney for six years before travelling extensively overseas for three years returning to Australia in 1992. During his time overseas he spent a year working in London. On his return to Adelaide in 1993, Paul joined Steve Grieve Architects and Grieve Gillett Pty Ltd was formed in 2000.

Paul has been responsible for a broad range of projects across all fields of architecture and urban design including heritage listed buildings, allied health projects, education projects, transport infrastructure projects, pedestrian and road bridges, commercial and retail developments, light industrial projects, multi residential developments and private residences.
