​After developing an interest in people-centred design, Tessa expanded her architectural scope to include urban planning and heritage, travelling the world to unlock the secrets of designing ‘places for people’. This global outlook has given her an insight into the different ways in which people live and a deeper appreciation of architecture’s contribution to cultural heritage, social vibrancy and environmental wellbeing.
 

Tessa’s built outcomes are deceptively simple, demonstrating her great skill and refinement. The success of these projects begins through research, knowledge gathering and analysis. She believes that good design is about maximising opportunities and that ‘better’ doesn’t necessarily mean bigger or luxury finishes. She seeks to support community, connect with nature and ultimately to bring joy!
