Shae is a Senior Project Architect at Grieve Gillett Architects, with over 17 years’ experience delivering projects across a wide range of sectors and building types. She has successfully managed projects with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $35 million, covering health, education (including trade training facilities), heritage and adaptive reuse, regional facilities, commercial towers, mixed-use developments, sports and leisure facilities, and residential projects.

Shae is driven by a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces that inspire joy and enhance occupant wellbeing. She believes that every project, regardless of scale or type, should reflect the aspirations of its users, with every opportunity taken to enrich daily experiences and embed cultural meaning.

With a particular focus on healthcare, education, and regional facilities, Shae is committed to improving the quality of service delivery and built environments in these sectors. Her core strengths include detailed documentation, spatial planning, stakeholder engagement and consultation, contract administration, technical design reviews and coordination, and project management. Highly adept at managing multiple tasks, teams, and project demands simultaneously, she works collaboratively with large and complex consultant groups to ensure cohesive and coordinated project delivery.

Shae has practiced in offices across northern New South Wales, southern Queensland, and Adelaide, contributing to projects in regional and remote communities throughout Australia.
