PEOPLE

Paul Gillett Grieve Gillett Architecture

PAUL GILLETT

Founding Director

Paul has extensive experience in all areas of architectural practice over four decades, delivering some of Adelaide’s most iconic developments and critical infrastructure. His dedication to design and lasting community benefit are evident in all his work. Paul has proven exceptional design skills, having been recognised with numerous awards.

As Project Director, Paul has been responsible for a broad range of projects across all fields of architecture and urban design including education, civic, social justice, heritage, transport, health, sports, multi-residential and private homes. He listens carefully and analytically, and draws on his depth of experience to think laterally in developing solutions. He communicates clearly and succinctly and works collaboratively in both consultant- and contractor-led environments.

He believes in maintaining a hands-on approach from design to construction, ensuring that design intent, client requirements and quality of workmanship are championed throughout the life of a project. The result is finely crafted buildings which provide innovative solutions to the client’s needs. Paul understands and accommodates project budgetary, program and contractual constraints while continuing to strive for excellence. He does all of this in an attitude of good humour.
