Director Paul Gillett joined the Architecture and Design panel about universal accessibility in our built environment at the Universal Design Forum Adelaide on 26 October 2017.

The panel discussion was led by Nathan James Crane and involved Kaare Krokene of Snøhetta, Professor Ian Gwilt, Research Professor at the University of South Australia's School of Art, Architecture and Design, and Yianni Hill Principal of We're Open. The discussion focused on how architecture design principals are being used to create accessible and liveable spaces for all to enjoy.

The full day forum event was hosted by the Honourable Kelly Vincent MLC with the aim to expand the knowledge of universal design and share ideas on how we can utilise it to make homes and environments more useable, accessible, safer and convenient for everyone.

Below are some GGA projects designed to accommodate universal accessibility.
