Prefabricated shroud completes Pembroke's Jin Bridge

Updated: Apr 11, 2025

Another exciting milestone as the finishing touches to the Pembroke School Middle School Redevelopment 'Jin' Bridge were lifted into place this week.
The purple steel shroud prefabricated and installed by Specialisted Solutions floats out of the Jacaranda canopies that line Shipsters Road. This completes the final stage of the building works, which connects and provides the main entry from the building to the school's main Kings campus via a new landing, accessible lift and external staircase.
The building was officially opened on Tuesday 17 September 2019 by Principal Luke Thomson and special guest Dr Richard Harris OAM who was jointly awarded the 2019 Australian of the Year as a result of his crucial role in the Tham Luang cave rescue.
