AVA KIM

Architect

Ava has been involved in diverse aspects of architectural design and building types including mixed-use, commercial, civic, hospitality and multi-residential.

Contributing to all aspects of both conceptual and realised projects, she investigates unconventional design solutions. Her broad scope of professional experience and design sensitivity has been an integral part of project teams.

Driven by context, Ava’s design approach demonstrates careful understanding of culture, community and the built environment. She applies research and analysis to conduct rigorous testing of design options, exploring them in different mediums from hand sketching to 3D and realistic visualisations. Her interest in economic development processes has been applied to a variety of commercial and cultural precincts.

Ava brings a personable demeanour, curiosity and rigour to developing context-sensitive outcomes. Her global experience and research into city-shaping for the future afford her a big picture mindset for everything from micro projects to major developments.
