PANCAKES FOR PARKINSON'S NETWORKING BREAKFAST
With 80,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Australia and an estimated 30 people diagnosed each day, the team at Grieve Gillett Andersen are proud to be supporting Parkinson’s SA this year.
We invite you to join us for a networking breakfast on Tuesday, 10th September, where we will serve up hot pancakes with a range of toppings so that we can to raise funds to support those living with Parkinson's, as well as their carers and families, the community and health professionals.
Categorised as the ‘movement disorder’, Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that can affect people from all walks of life. In addition to effects on movement, there are many symptoms such as pain, sensory changes, depression and problems with memory, thinking and sleep that can have an impact on the day to day life of the person with Parkinson’s and their carers and families. Sadly, there is currently no known cure and while it is possible to live with Parkinson’s for a long time, symptoms become worse over time.
For a $5 donation, we will serve hot pancakes and a range of toppings with tea and coffee. We will also have some games and prizes to win for an extra gold coin donation.
