The St. Peters Residence is a house for a family of six and their busy lives. The project involved renovating an existing elevated villa and adding new indoor and outdoor areas suited for contemporary living.

The new building forms are sculptural and dynamic, working in contrast to the architecture of the existing villa. The bold style of the house is reflective of a trusting relationship between the architects and the owner, and is a confident expression of the owners’ personal style.

With a family of four older teenagers, the organisation of the house enables retreat and privacy as well as opportunities to come together as a family and with friends. Carefully placed views, natural light, strong colour and texture are put together to create a comfortable and happy home.
