This internal fitout for accountancy firm Semmons was undertaken with a limited budget.

Grieve Gillett Architects decided not to install a ceiling through the space, instead exposing the services increased the volume of the space and altered the perception of the spatial quality of the fitout. Concealed LED lights were installed within columns, highlighting the existing architectural feature.

Design choices supported the Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) approach to the project while achieving a substantial cost saving. The recycled rubber flooring installed throughout is a further ESD initiative.
