A particular area of specialisation, we are leaders in secure facility architecture including master control room design. We focus on the seamless integration of security, functionality and architecture.

With extensive experience in the design of specialist control room facilities, GGA achieves holistic security solutions through our strong understanding of security operations and security systems. We have delivered master control rooms for all nine DCS prison sites across the state, as well as other critical infrastructure and secure facilities such as transport control centres, police stations, courts, youth custodial facilities and art collections. Following the delivery of the award-winning Mt Gambier Prison Control Room, our design guidelines have become the new exemplar, and we have been called on to provide specialist input for implementation across various jurisdictions across Australia.

In addition to control room design, GGA has significant experience in the design of movement control areas within secure buildings, such as entry points, contraband screening points and the design of physical elements that complement the electronic security systems.
