We congratulate all the award winners of the National Association of Women in Construction SA Awards last night.
Associate Esther Chew was awarded the Starfish Developments Project Innovation and Development Award, which recognises women who play a significant role in achieving major milestones for the development of projects whilst also applying innovation.
Drink Dine Design Finalists' Exhibition now showing

The 2018 Drink Dine Design Finalists’ exhibition and installation, designed by Grieve Gillett Andersen Architects is now showing at the Adelaide Airport, main concourse until 7 November.
Made up of 1,500 KINK Oil Bottle packaging tubes, careful consideration of its environmental impact has been at the forefront of the design process.

Pembroke’s Middle School rising fast from the Ground

135 days in and the Pembroke Middle School Redevelopment is rising fast from the ground with key design elements starting to take shape.
The triangular footprint of the building is now visible with first level floorplate currently being tensioned and poured, whilst the three level in-situ off form concrete heart of the building, affectionately known as ‘the shard’, continues to set the pace for the program.
Torrens Road to Torrens River South Rd Upgrade

The completion of the Torrens Road to Torrens River South Road upgrade is nearing an early completion with Grieve Gillett Andersen providing the Urban Design services, as part of the T2T Alliance.
As the project nears completion, the urban design elements in the development are taking shape. The project has duplicated South Rd, pushing a non-stop section below Torrens Road, Hawker Street, The Outer Harbour Rail Line, Port Road and Grange Road.
Copper Coast’s Redeveloped Leisure Centre Now Open

On Thursday 26 July, the redeveloped Copper Coast Sport and Leisure Centre in Kadina was officially opened by The Honourable Michael McCormack, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia.
It was a grand occasion organised by the Copper Coast Council and the celebrations also continued on Sunday at the community open day. The upgraded facility built by Unique Urban Built and designed by Grieve Gillett Andersen, was hailed as a benchmark for country area sports facilities.
