Oran Park in South-West Sydney is one of the fastest growing regions in the country. Together with Perumal Pedavoli (PPA), Grieve Gillett Architects delivered Design and Documentation of a $78m expansion to the existing Primary School to include a new High School and additional Junior teaching spaces to satisfy current demand in the community.
 

The K-12 school now accommodates 3000 students and provide over 23,000m2 of new teaching facilities including GLAs, specialist Science, Art, Tech and Drama spaces, a new Library, Senior Learning Centre, Sports Stadium, Staff Resource and Training Centre, and Canteen with a Café open to the community.

Grieve Gillett Architects were embedded within the PPA team from the commencement of Design Development and managed a Documentation and Consultant team based in Adelaide, Sydney and Perth. GGA were required to manage the interface between all stakeholders, coordinate various inputs from consultants and confirm that the design adhered to the NSW Education Facilities Standards & Guidelines Framework. Through the use of cloud-based project management and documentation software, GGA provided consistent, compliant and thorough documentation, which resulted in minimal RFIs during the Tender phase.
