GGA presents Future Forum: Modulation at Open State

Architect Dino Vrynios has curated the Future Forum: Modulation event during Open State, the SA Government's 10 day program of collaboration, innovation, ideas and enterprise. Estimated to be worth A$12.3 billion dollars in 2014-15, the Australian pre-fabricated building industry is forecast to grow by 3% annually until 2020.

 

This forum will feature industry experts across government, construction, manufacturing and design sectors to discuss the opportunities and identify the benefits for South Australia.

The Anzac Centenary Memorial Walk is a lasting reminder of the human cost of war

The Australian story would not be complete without its digger narrative of mateship, egalitarianism and remembrance; a narrative that is upheld today in the multiple events and sites across the country that pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of all Australians affected by war.

 

The Anzac Centenary Memorial Walk in Adelaide, first approved by the South Australian government in January 2014 and completed in April 2016, is one of these many spaces.

GGA partners with dsquared to design Australia's first zero carbon apartments

Grieve Gillett Andersen is excited to partner with dsquared Consulting to design Australia's first zero carbon apartments in Adelaide. The proposal was selected as a finalist in the Government of South Australia's Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge initiative. 

The Residential Sector currently accounts for 40% of the Adelaide CBD carbon footprint. Our idea eliminates carbon emissions from medium to high density residential development and therefore if fully commercialised will make a dramatic contribution to Adelaide’s target of zero carbon living.

Dimitty Andersen presents award-winning project Fade to Grey

15 July 2016

Director Dimitty Andersen will speak about Fade to Grey project at the upcoming 2016 SA Architecture Awards Lightning Talk, presented by the Australian Institute of Architects - SA Chapter. Fade to Grey by Grieve Gillett Andersen received an Award for Residential Architecture - Alterations & Additions.

 

The jury said, "Fade to Grey has a new level of refinement, as shown in the finishes, design elements and the mature handling of the spaces, along with their contrasting yet complementary relationship to the garden and the old house."
