Dino Vrynios - Jack Hobbs McConnell Travelling Fellow 2014

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Dino Vrynios who was awarded the 2014 Jack Hobbs McConnell Travelling Fellowship last Friday. The Fellowship will allow Dino to travel interstate and overseas to study modular construction. 

 

His particular interest lies in the advances that are being made in modular construction that can be adapted for commercial, infrastructure and residential projects.  This, he believes will encourage South Australia to become an incubator for the development of future building technologies.

Samuel came to architecture after a successful career as practising dentist, working in public and private practice, clinical management and dental education. He brings from this an eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders across a broad range of backgrounds.

Effective 1 July 2014, the new company will be known as Grieve Gillett + Dimitty Andersen Architects (GGDAA) with directors Steve Grieve and Paul Gillett welcoming Dimitty Andersen and her staff into the fold."

"Leading South Australian architecture firms Grieve Gillett and Dimity Andersen [Architects] are merging from July 1. 
The newly badged firm Grieve Gillett Andersen would be based with the 22 staff already at the Grieve Gillett offices in Pirie Street, Adelaide.
